Our new Twister outside chassis header offers a unique look to roadster header design while including important features to make your installation easy and trouble-free. Mufflered exhaust collectors (baffled) are integrated into the header, and finish-matched turnouts are included. No need for an under-chassis exhaust system!

    Are the silver ones also stainless steel? Will they fit LS376/480 in fiberglass 1941 Willys. I think I need fender well design

    All of our headers are made from heavy gauge mild steel. It's unlikely that a Twister header will fit the Willys. The hood and fenders would prevent having adequate space.

    i have read that the 6.2L LS engines really like the 1 7/8 primaries. can these be ordered with the larger primaries?

    Do you plan on mostly racing the vehicle, and/or spending most of its time above 6,000 RPM? If not, a 1-7/8" header is too big. It would be like attaching a 3.0" fire hose to the garden hose bib on your house. Header size requirement is based upon many factors, with one of primary ones being airflow---how much and at what RPMs. Putting that large of a header on a 6.2L street rod will actually cost you power and torque.

    I want to purchase a set of these headers,but I don't see a bung for the oxygen sensor
    I have a 1932 ford roadster with a downs fiberglass body

    Specify when ordering that you require oxygen sensor bungs, and whether you require just one (which side) or both sides. If ordering off our website, and in many cases with our dealers, you can include this in the comments box during checkout.

Limited 5 Year General Warranty

Sanderson Street Rod Headers strives to supply our customers with the highest quality parts and service available in the street rod industry. In keeping with this, we warrant and will repair or replace, at our option after inspection in our facility, any of our products which are found by us to have failed due to defects in either material or workmanship.  This warranty is activated by the return of the Warranty Card enclosed with every pair of headers, and is effective for FIVE YEARS * from the date of purchase as indicated on the original invoice.

This Warranty does not cover products that fail due to improper motor tuning, alteration, disassembly, or damage caused by racing, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper installation and/or accident, or when used on applications for which they were not designed or approved. We are specifically not responsible for the costs of removal, installation, transportation, destruction of other components, inconvenience, loss of time, or other personal damages, or for any other associated costs including the application of aftermarket coatings applied by others. Sanderson Street Rod headers shall not be liable for any and all consequential damages occasioned by the breach of any written or implied warranty pertaining to this sale in excess of the purchase price of the product(s) as found on the original invoice.



* Extremely compact header designs which locate the collector in close proximity to the exhaust ports are very sensitive to engine tuning. Improper air/fuel mix or timing of ignition and/or valvetrain can cause early failure due to excessive heat. For this reason, part numbers CC2 and CC3 are offered with a two-year Warranty period only. All other Warranty conditions apply.

When sitting in driver's seat and engine in front of you, the LEFT header would be the Driver's Side on LH drive vehicles; coincidently, means the RIGHT header is on the passenger side. See the detail image above left that describes engine sides.
