1927 Ford Model T Roadster

1927 Ford Model T Roadster
Bruce & Caroline Wolfe

The Wolfes bare bones T looks for all the world like a race car - must be those Zoomies! Well, that is part of it, but the whole car has been very carefully crafted to achieve the nostalgic drag race appearance. The hard part about this style is that everything shows; it either works or it does not, and in this case it is working great!

That?s a 468 cu. in. big Block Chevy with Aries pistons, steel crank, and aluminum roller rockers. The low 8.1 compression ratio is perfect for the 10% overdriven 6.71 blower with dual 750 cfm Edelbrocks. A TH400 tranny with B&M shift kit and 3500rpm stall converter spins the 3.00 Ford 9 inch positraction rear.

The chassis incorporates four wheel power disc brakes, and four link suspension with a dropped TCI front axle, and a coilover rear. Wheels are E.T. Gassers up front and E.T. Fuelers out back. The body and frame are fully detailed and painted House of Color Candy Blue, and features leather upholstery in the interior and trunk.
