The rod you see here looks pretty simple at first glance, but everything that went into the it was done by design, and involved the talents of the San Francisco Bay Area best known builders. Starting with a Brookville Roadster extended steel body and Curbside rails. The crew at Roy Brizios dropped, chopped and stretched until the overall proportions were just right. Jack Hagemann, Jr. massaged the bed while Mickey Galloway prepped the body and frame for the Darryl Hollenbeck paintwork. A Sid Chavers interior and soft top complete the package.
Power for the Cliffs new driver comes from an Edelbrock Performer RPM 350 crate motor, based on the ZZ4 block. The completed engine is dyno tested at 410 HP with twin 500cfm 4bbls, aluminum heads and Sanderson headers hooked to a 2-1/4 inch stainless exhaust system.
